Kanye West leads BET Hip-Hop Awards with 17 nominations!

Hip-Hop artiste Kanye West might not have released a solo effort since 2010 but you ‘Can’t tell him nothing’ as he has bagged 17 nominations at the forthcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards!

It has however been a very big year for the Chicago native and G.O.O.D Music boss as a producer, performer and director

Yeezy received the highest nominations for his collaborative work with Jay Z on the ‘Watch the Throne’ album, and his upcoming work on the G.O.O.D Music compilation album ‘Cruel Summer’.

Rapper 2Chainz follows with an impressive 13 nominations while Drake scores 11 nods.

The awards will be taped Friday, September 29, 2012 at Atlanta’s Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Centre with Mike Epps as host for the fourth year running.

Guess we’ll be seeing Kim Kardashian at the awards!
