The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, January 18, 2016 summoned the team of Valentino Chibueze Enudi and Monday Adewale Lawal before Justice Valentine Ashi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court,
Abuja on a 15-tally charge verging on falsification and acquiring by false pretence.The offense is culpable under Section 364 of the Penal Code and Section 1(3) of Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offenses Act, 2006.
Enudi and Lawal were caught by EFCC agents taking after a request charging that the team spend significant time in utilizing produced bank explanations and different reports to falsely get cash from individuals under the pretense of handling United Kingdom visa for them.
The blamed persons argued not liable when the charges were perused to them.
In perspective of their request, direction to EFCC, Victor Ukagwu approached the court for a date for trial to start.
Equity Ashi suspended the case to February 3, 2016 and requested the charged persons to be remanded in EFCC care.
