A woman was murdered after saying no to the romantic overtures of a man she met at a Pittsburgh bar.
One 41-year-old Charles Mckinney, has been charged with the murder of the woman identified as Janese Talton-Jackson, Police say.
Mckinney reportedly made passes at Talton-Jackson, 29, at Cliff’s Bar on North Lang Avenue, in Homewood, January 22.
Talton-Jackson rejected all of Mckinney’s advances, and as she got up to leave the club, Mckinney allegedly followed and shot her outside of the establishment.
Police found the mother of three lying in the street where she was pronounced dead.
A funeral service would be held for her on Saturday, January 30 at a Baptist Church, in Homewood.
McKinney also faces charges of aggravated assaults, firearms without license, fleeing or attempting to elude police amongst others.
