- Ellen just got $49M richer
US TV host and network producer Ryan Seacrest has bought talk show host Ellen DeGeneres‘ 9,200 square-foot Beverly Hills mansion for close to the $49 million asking price, according to TMZ.
Seacrest who according to Forbes raked in $59m last year and is ranked 29 on the celebrity 100 list reportedly bought the mansion through the same realtor, Kurt Rappaport, whom Ellen used to make the sale.
According to Realtor.com, the mansion
has three guest homes, a couple of cement ponds and 2.87 acres (almost a
whole block in Beverly Hills).
In similar news, Seacrest has put up his
Hollywood home for sale. He recently reduced the price from an initial
$11.9m to $14.95m, Celebuzz reports. This estate, which has six
bedrooms, six-and-a half baths, a screening room, large wine cellar,
gym, tennis and swimming pool with a cabana, once belonged to actor Kevin Costner and wife Christine Baumgartner.
