In a country where beauty pageants are beginning to go out of fashion and losing credence and value, a new dawn has come as the Face of Peace Africa Pageant berths for models within the age range of 18-25.
The Face of Peace Africa Pageant is a product of Blu-Moon Imaginationz, a media and film production outfit in Abuja founded by Ify Concepta, the current Miss Peace Nigeria and one-time runner up for Miss Imo and Miss Tourism. Auditions will hold in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos and the sale of forms which is presently on sale, will end Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
The winner (Face of peace Africa 2012) will get $10,000, a new car, 1 year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, 1 year Beauty routine with bold & beautiful, a trip to Gambia. 1st runner up (Blu-moon model) will get $5,000, 42 inches Plasma TV, 1 year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, 1 year Beauty routine with bold & beautiful, a trip to Ghana. The 2nd runner up (Blu-moon Image) will get prizes worth $,2000, 27 inches Plasma TV, 1 year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, 1 year Beauty routine with bold & beautiful , and trip to Obudu cattle ranch. Consolation prizes will also be available for other contestants in the pageant.

behind the prizes and their expectations ‘’we want to make a bold
statement with the pageant that is why we are giving mouth watering
prizes to the winners because there is need for our pageant to stand
out. Basically, the Face of Peace Africa Pageant is looking at
empowering the African girl child. We are not just looking for ladies
who are 6ft tall and elegant, we are looking for ladies who have brains,
who are very intelligent and can stand in front of governors, we intend
to package them in that light’’.
