Afrobeat maestro Femi Kuti is set to be inducted into The Headies Hall of Fame. This was announced on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 when the organizers of the awards released this year’s nominees list.
The special recognition for Kuti, a
three-time Grammy Awards nominee is to celebrate his excellence and
outstanding impact to the entertainment industry’.
The awards will take place on Saturday
20th October 2012 at Exhibition Center, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria
Island, Lagos and will be hosted by rapper M.I and singer Omawumi.
