Entertaining and inspiring Nigerian TV show ‘Discovery +234’returns for a second season after high record of success on its first.
The organisers revealed the season two will also feature youth roundtables, in which young people from Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria talk with each other about the challenges and opportunities they face in today’s world.
“We are excited about providing better futures for children and communities through the “Discovery +” model,” says Tony Gardner, DFID Kenya’s Deputy Head of Office.
“Audiences are drawn to inspiring stories, those that show that with education and hard work, anything is possible. That is the message we want to spread across Nigeria,” says Delmwa Deshi-Kura, “Discovery +234” producer and creative director at Del Media Plus.
‘Discovery +234’ is TV show which cut across deeply rooted ethnic lines relating to the inspirational power of real stories.
It host top celebrities and members of the society to share personal struggling experiences and how they overcome challenges and the also the inspiring stories behind their success, it basically aimed to bridge the many divides that polarize Africa.
‘Discovery +234’ which currently airs on NTA on Saturday nights at 6 pm is hosted by Gideon Okeke alongside media personality Jumai Shaba.
