A new showdown is set to go down in Nollywood as three top movie makers have indicated interest for the President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN).
Seasoned directors, Lancelot Imasuen, Dickson Iroegbu and Fred Amata have all declared their wish to lead DGN which is the apex body for filmmakers in Nigeria.
With the trio having decades of experience and numerous movies to their credit, it is going to be a close call and sources say nobody has an upper hand at the moment.
The election for the position, currently occupied by Andy Amaenach will holds on Friday, February 26 and many within the guild are hoping for a convivial, scandal-free elections
