60-year old Hamidu Ali, a former military administrator of Kaduna state has been appointed Chief of Staff to the President.
The retired Colonel, who hails from Kano state, reportedly played a very significant role as head of the Crowd Funding Project during Buhari’s campaign.
Ali’s military background, antecedents and modest lifestyle were also said to be factors that endeared him to the President.
