Scratch the fairytale wedding! Kim Kardashian wants a ceremony fit for a queen — and her fiancé Kanye West will make sure his bride-to-be gets exactly what she desires. According to reports, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the “Bound 2” artist will be saying there “I do’s” at one of the most extravagant venues of them all: France’s famed Palace of Versailles.
Oh yes, you heard right! The duo will be traveling across the sea to the royal chateau where they will then become husband and wife, according to reports. “Kanye has never been married and wants a big [wedding],” a source told Us Weekly of the rapper, 36, who has a 6-month-old daughter, North, with his fiancée. “They are not working with a budget.”
Clearly money is no object when it comes to West showing his love for his fiancée. Remember his over-the-top wedding proposal to Kardashian in October? The clothing designer rented out San Francisco’s AT&T Park where he proposed to the reality star in front of their closest family and friends — in addition to a 50-piece orchestra who serenaded the newly engaged couple with Lana Del Rey’s “Young & Beautiful” and West’s own single “Knock You Down.”

This will be Kardashian’s second wedding. In August 2011 the brown-haired-beauty married basketball pro Kris Humphries at a gorgeous estate in Montecito, California. The two invited over 400 guests who feasted on food by Wolfgang Puck and celebrated the union of Kim and Kris. “It felt like a fairy tale,” Kardashian said of her $10 million wedding.
Perhaps that’s why West isn’t shy about shelling out the cash when it comes to marrying the bodacious babe. In fact, Versailles is pretty much the perfect place for this couple to wed, now that we think about it. When the chateau was built, Versailles was but a country village. Today, however, the area is considered one of the wealthier suburbs of Paris. And at the middle of the affluent city is the court of Versailles, the center of former political power in France that housed the royals — that is, until the family was forced to return to the capital at the beginning of the French Revolution.
