President Muhammadu Buhari has welcomed President of Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck in Statehouse on February 11.
President Buhari was accompanied by his team including Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Minister of Foreign Affairs ,Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami, Minister of Works, Housing and Power Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Trade and Investment Okechukwu Enemalah, National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno and Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing Mustapha Baba Shehuri.
The leader of the nation has just returned from 5-day vacation in Lindon, United Kingdom.
He has been continually criticized for his many trips abroad and was blamed by Ekiti state Governor, Ayo Fayose for spending $1 million on each trip.
Buhari is set to leave Nigeria again on February 24 for another official trip abroad. The president will tour Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar as part of a three-nation visit.
The country’s leader is also expected to perform the lesser hajj (Umrah) and visit Mecca and Madina during his time in the Muslim holy land.
