first-half goal from Oscar gave the Blues the lead at Selhurst Park, before second-half strikes from Willian and Diego Costa secured all three points
Guus Hiddink stormed to his first victory as Chelsea manager after a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Blues were dealt a blow after just 15 minutes when Eden Hazard was forced off the pitch with a groin injury, sustained after taking a shot just moments before.
Hiddink’s side then took the lead shortly before the half-an-hour mark through Oscar, latching onto a pass across goal from Diego Costa to nestle past Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey.
Oscar then turned provider to tee up Willian on the hour mark, crashing a stuning 20-yard effort into the top corner of the goal, before Costa added a third from close range minutes later.
