Barrack Obama has formally accepted the Democratic presidential nomination.
The US President did so after delivering
what will be his final convention speech as a candidate on Thursday
night, September 6, 2012.
The speech is coming after two
critically acclaimed support speeches from Obama’s wife – first lady
Michelle and former US president Bill Clinton.
‘Our problems can be solved. Our
challenges can be met. The path we offer may be harder, but it leads to a
better place. And I’m asking you to choose that future’, Obama said.
The 2012 United States elections will be
held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Obama will contest against
businessman and politician Mitt Romney who is the nominee of the
Republican Party.
