Craig Sainsbury, who is a journalist for ForestEchoNews, via his twitter wrote:” BREAKING: Gary Neville has been SACKED by valenciacf after a humiliating defeat by Barcelona. Shame it had to end this way.”

Neville was appointed a head coach of Valencia on December 2, 2015. Neville replaced Nuno, who resigned on November 29.

Barcelona crashed Neville’s Valencia with 7-o score yesterday. A Lionel Messi hat-trick and four goals from Luis Suarez crashed Valencia  at Camp Nou.

Mustafi was sent off just before half-time with Barca already leading 3-0.

The German defender said: “We want to say sorry to the supporters and to the people who are working for the club.But you can’t ask for forgiveness without giving a reaction.
