Kodi Klasiq, original name Onwuzurike Chikodi M. is an R&B, dancehall, hip hop, jazz, soul, soft rock, techno and fusion artist. Born 24th March in the early 80's He grew with the art
of music joining Church and band groups to develop his musicianship.
Later obtaining a degree in Music at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka
(UNN) and graded certificates at the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON), Onikan, Lagos. While at school he got involved in entertainment
activities such as organising and performing in shows and talent hunts;
organising shows like Bob Marley May 11th of every year, Mic on Fire, Jazz Nite and Beauty peagents. Also as a music educationist he has been training
and developing students in schools for 10years. He has been providing
live band performances for events like MTN valentines 2006,former CBN
Governor Prof. Soludo annual economic summit in Enugu,etc.
Kodi Klasiq was mainly influenced
while growing up by the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. At the age of 6, he was already imitating MJ's vocal texture and dance steps on
stage. Growing up imitating MJ. After
graduating in 2007, he established his entertainment outfit; Klasiq
Music partnering with his close friends Eledumarevision (photographer and media) and Motion Plus.
